Diabetes is caused with the failure of pancreas (which produces insulin) thereby sugar levels in the blood are increased, because sugar does not get assimilated in the blood in the required proportions.

Normal Sugar Levels:

Fasting Sugar 70-120 mg/dl, Post Lunch (after meals) 100-170 mg/dl

Insulin Dependents also stopped after using this medicine.

• Excess of urination
• Excess of thirst Loss of weight
• Excess of hunger
• Delay in healing injuries (wounds)
• Impaired vision
• Unexplained headache, dizziness
• Weakness, itching, constipation, skin diseases
• Infection rate is high in diabetic and susceptible to infection of renal, blood vessels, nerves, chest, skin, nail, bones, gall blader, genitals, foot, eye, urinary tract, pulmanary TB, hypertension.
• In Chronic diabetes sexual power is reduced. Frequent infection in genitals.

Indications:

Madhumeha, Ikshumeha (Diabetes)

Dosage:

One teaspoon (1 to 2 gms) morning before breakfast and one teaspoon at night before dinner with water or butter milk.

Increase the dosage from 1 to 2 teaspoons incase of high sugar level and decrease the dosage when the sugar level comes down. Use medicine under the supervision of a doctor.
