Laxosafe
is an effective combination of Senna Leaves with its
action
chiefly upon the lower bowel, and is therefore, suitable for habitual costiveness.
It increases peristalytic movements of the colon by its local action upon
the intestinal wall. Senna in laxosafe speeds up passage through the caecum
and ascending colon, resulting in decereased absorption of water and there
by a bulkier and softer faecal mass.
A single
through evacuation is usually produced within 6-10 hours after oral administration
of Laxosafe. The possibility of griping is prevented by the presence of
lavan and aromatics in Laxosafe.
