Pharmacology :
Picrorrhiza kurroa (Kutaki) :Kutaki possess hepatoprotective activity. Plant is a potent immunostimulant of both cell mediated and humoral immunity and exhibits choleretic activity in dogs. Protects the liver against hepatotoxins, hepatoprotective properties, Potent antioxidant activity, Modulates liver enzyme levels, anti-inflammatory action anti-allergy action.

Indications: Hepatic Health
Dosage: One capsule twice a day. Discuss the supplements and medication you take with your health care provider.
Mode Of Action :Increased activities of serum ALT, AST, ACP, ALP and LDH are well-known diagnostic indicators of hepatitis. In cases like liver damage with hepatocellular lesions and parenchymal cell necrosis, these enzymes are released from damaged tissues into the blood stream. P. kurroa resulted in a significant reduction in the levels of these enzymes towards near normalcy as compared to toxicant, establishing its hepatoprotective effect.
