Clinical Information :
Indications: Glucose regulator
Dosage: One capsule twice a day. Discuss the supplements and medication you take with your health care provider.
Mode Of Action :The active constituents of P.marsupium are phenolic compounds. It significantly lowered the blood glucose level of hyperglycemic , The effects were due to an increase in insulin secretion, it impaired glycogen synthesis in the liver secondary to diabetes. P. marsupium modulated tissue glucose utilization in insulin-dependent tissues and could serve as one possible mechanism of its antidiabetic activity. P. marsupium was shown to slow the development, progression and severity of cataract, a common complication of chronic diabetes.
